COVID–19 Solidarity Fund South Africa

As the spread of COVID–19 continues to spread at a rapid rate in South Africa, the next few days are crucial. Government mandates have placed the Republic of South Africa on a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, effective from 26 March 2020 until 16 April 2020. The aim is to completely irradiate COVID–19 in South Africa.

Aim of the fund:

1. Prevent

The spread of the disease by supporting measures to "flatten the curve" by lowering infection rates;

2. Detect

And understand the magnitude of the disease;

3. Care

For those in hospital or medical care; and

4. Support

Those whose lives have been disrupted by the pandemic.
